Well, Kindle did it again last holiday season breaking all their previous records of sales. Kindle is yet again the best selling e-reader on Amazon.com best seller charts. As described in the words of Amazon “2011 is the best holiday ever for Kindle”. Amazon continues to prove that they manufacture the best device and has best platform to access millions of books for book lovers and avid readers.

This time, Amazon’s venture is not limited to dedicated e-reader; they created a whole new kind of tablet called the Kindle Fire. The response from the customers is overwhelming as Amazon manages to sell over 1 million Kindle devices per week throughout December in 2011. From the millions of items available on Amazon.com, Kindle Fire is the #1 best-selling item, followed by Amazon Kindle Touch as #2 and Kindle $79 as #3 respectively. Kindle Fire incorporates the best features of high-end tablets but priced at just 1/3 the price of other popular tablets on the market. Now, they really strive to be Earth’s most customer-centric company.

Kindle is not just the best-selling item on Amazon.com but it the best-selling item on Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.es and Amazon.it during the holiday season, 2011. With the kindle sales growth going up drastically, kindle book’s authors are also greatly benefited.
